INTRODUCTORY
LESSONS
Belay
Lessons:
Teaches you to hold the ropes for your partner. This
course is required to climb at RockSport. Lessons are
held each Monday, Tuesday and Friday evenings at 7pm;
Saturday and Sunday at 11 am. Cost:
$10 per person.
Does not include Day Pass or rental gear.
Getting
Off The Ground:
Looking to introduce yourself to the sport of rock
climbing? Here's your chance. This class is both a belay
lesson and an introduction to climbing movement. First
you will be trained to handle our safety equipment
(belaying and knot tying) then our instructors will
introduce you to basic climbing technique. After the
lesson you are free to practice your new skills for the
rest of the night.
Classes are held Wednesday at 7pm. or by special
appointment. Call ahead to sign
up.
Cost: $25 per person.
This includes: the lesson, equipment and climbing for the
rest of the night.

Climbing Higher
Workshops:
So you've discovered climbing and you're looking to move
from being a neophyte to an expert. Here's your chance
to get instruction on various technical aspects of
climbing movement and philosophy. The workshops are open
to beginners looking to accelerate their climbing
ability and experts trying to tweak their skills. This
class is best for those who have already been belay
certified.
The classes are offered every Thursday at 7pm. Call
ahead to sign up. Topics rotate weekly and cover route
reading, bouldering with a back-step, footwork, balance, and resting.
Cost: $15 for one or $45 for all four sessions. Private
Lessons:
One-on-one instruction enables you to work
with a professional instructor to address your specific
climbing needs. From beginning technique to lead
climbing; lessons are for all ages and abilities. Cost:
$30 per hour
